Sat29 Aug: Comfortable win by 1st XI; 2nd XI fall just short.

The 1st XI beat table toppers Didcot 2nd XI by 7 wickets and are left to rue two under-par performances during the mini-season; the 2nd XI bowl out Shipton-under-Wychwood 3rd XI for 152 but fall 14 run short in the run chase.

1st XI: A good all round Kingston bowling performance with every bowler taking wickets restricts Didcot to 133 for 8 off their 40 overs and a good all round batting performance with the top five batting sensibly and all contributing sees Kingston reach the target with 5.2 overs to go and only 3 wickets down. A very comfortable win over the table leaders.

2nd XI: Kingston restricted Shipton-under-Wychwood to 152 for 8 in their 40 overs, with some excellent bowling performances (Joe Hornblow 4-25; Nick Walker 3-23) but not even a leading batting effort by Stuart Edwards (47*)  could see Kingston over the line, bowled out falling 14 runs short with 9 balls left.
